HOUSER FURNISHINGS
The holiday homes have been individually equipped according to the owners' taste. The furnishing conveys a particular flair to the guest and is not to be compared with standard holiday facilities. We value the flexibility and open-mindedness of our guests who therefore know that hardly anything can be the same as it is at home. This is true of such things as building standards, stairs, windows, locks, railings, sanitary and electric fittings, size and measurement.

  • The minimum standard in the kitchen includes a sink, cooking facility and refrigerator. Other appliances eg. dishwasher, microwave, are noted in the house description.
  • Telephone: many rental properties have a telephone whose use is often restricted to the local area. It may be used to full capacity upon purchase of a number-coded "Ticket de téléphone."
  • TV: as France does not have cable network, reception is restricted to ca. 4-5 French programmes. Availability of satellite dishes for the reception of foreign channels is noted in the house description.
  • French beds have a single mattress 140 cm x 190 cm in size. Deviations from the norm are noted in the house description.
  • The term bathroom indicates a room in which one can wash oneself and includes at least a wash-basin. other sanitary fittings eg. bathtub, shower are noted separately.
  • Although seldom seen nowadays, some walls may only be plastered without paint or wallpaper.

DOGS - DANGEROUS BREEDS

  • In addition to the vaccination pass you will need proof of breed that the dog has been classified as a Category 2 dangerous breed according to French law (eg. Rottweiler, Staffordshire, American Staffordshire ...)
