Morbihan (F)
In the southernmost part of Britanny, Morbihan is - in contrast to the other coastal regions – flat. Elongated sand dunes border the mainland towards the Atlantic and form miles of fine, sandy beaches. This region also has many places of interest to offer: in the triangle of Erdeven-Quiberon-Camac the largest collection of prehistorical megaliths are to be found; south of Vannes, the Golf of Morbihan forms a fascinating inland sea with 365 islands and mild microclimate.
